Therapy Approach
Everything you need towards your healing is within you!
Our Approach to Therapy
Our therapists will accompany you on your journey of self-discovery and healing, guiding you towards thriving life. Our approach to therapy is gentle, compassionate, and client-centered. We understand that certain barriers and fears may arise during the healing process as we work together to explore painful experiences. We take pride in our ability to optimize therapeutic goals by integrating a variety of traditional treatment models with creative and non-traditional methods.
We view our clients as whole individuals, with their symptoms and challenges existing within the broader context of their personal, relational, neurobiological, cultural, political, and economic environments. In our therapy sessions, we will focus on nurturing your mind, body, and spirit to support your overall healing and personal growth. We bring cultural competence, respect to diversity, and understanding of systemic oppression to therapy. Our commitment to cultural awareness enables us to offer a sensitive and inquisitive approach to the diverse cultures of our clients, including those with indigenous, traditional, and collectivistic backgrounds.
We explore each problem through the lenses of the theories and therapeutic philosophies listed below. Our integrative and holistic approach allows us to personalize your treatment, to meet your diverse needs, and to maximize the effectiveness of therapy.

“We use the relationship to allow our client to re-experience dys-regulating affects in effectively tolerable doses in the context of safe environment. So that overwhelming traumatic feelings can be regulated and integrated into the client’s emotional life.”
